If you can answer YES to any of these questions, you might be at risk for Peripheral Artery Disease

September is Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) Awareness Month and a perfect time to learn more about your risks. PAD is a chronic circulatory condition, which if left untreated can result in unnecessary limb amputations. PAD affects nearly 20 million Americans, and an estimated 200,000 of them – disproportionately from minorities communities – suffer avoidable amputations every year.

KNOW YOUR RISKS FOR PAD:

Are you 50 years or older?

Are you a smoker?

Do you have family members with the disease?

Have you been diagnosed with diabetes, high cholesterol or high blood pressure?

Do you have kidney disease?

If you have any of these risk factors, we encourage you to learn more and take the first step to see if you could benefit from further evaluation with this free screening https://www.mavi.life/pad
