Self–Care Awareness Month!

September is a time to remind us that taking care of ourselves, first and foremost, is essential. Self-care is often neglected in our everyday lives, and here at MAVI, we want to remind you that your health matters to not only you, but the ones you surround yourself with.


7 Easy Things To Do For Self Care:

  1. Schedule a wellness visit. Self-care isn't only about caring for your mental health – it's about your physical health, too. ...

  2. Get enough sleep. ...

  3. Eat a healthy diet. ...

  4. Exercise regularly. ...

  5. Get a massage. ...

  6. Get outside. ...

  7. Start a gratitude journal.



Take time for yourself.

Whether it's 15 minutes of reading every night, taking up a dance class, doing a spot of baking at the weekend or something else, it's important to spend time doing the things you love. It can be hard to find time to do extra things but scheduling time for self-care is important.
